Time off.

I still have two weeks of vacation and two sick days to use before the end of the year or I lose it. I have several long weekends planned; this being the first. Today I slept in and made pancakes for myself; Rich doesn't really care much for them so I rarely make them. I spent some time on the internet, and now it is time to get busy. I plan to spend the rest of the day getting the upstairs deep cleaned, change the bedding, and get all the laundry done. Hopefully that will help with my allergies.

Monday I hope to go through some old pictures and start scanning them to cd's.

I know I will go back to a desk full of work since I am the only one with clearance to do my job. My boss doesn't even have access to that part of the company software anymore. Thankfully she is still able to code all the checks that come in for posting or I would never be able to take a day off....

I keep very busy at work with little time for vacation. August we had over $800,000 in revenue over last August in our department alone, making it a record breaking August. Our department has a total of only 32 people, being the 4th largest revenue earning department in the company world wide. It's real hard to use Three weeks vacation plus one week of sick days in a year when you are as busy as I am at work.

Very thankful for a job!
